We aren't your average bridal shop. Our goal with each and every client is to make them feel comfortable and supported. Shopping for a wedding dress can be an overwhelming process, so we do everything in our power to make it NOT THAT! To join our team we look for people who can truly make a connection with our brides, all while guiding them in the direction of their dream gown.

HIRING: BRIDAL STYLIST

Behind each of our Oh Happy Brides is a friendly, caring, and passionate stylist who fosters a safe and enjoyable environment for our clients to find their dream dress. Each appointment an OHB stylist hosts is calm and curated, with most brides claiming this was by far their favourite store to shop at!

As a small team, it is our shared viewpoint that every bride deserves to feel supported through this process, and even more so deserves to find a dress that makes them feel out-of-this-world happy! They’re determined to take on this challenge and assist our brides in finding their perfect match.

We're looking for you if you are:

  • An energetic people pleaser. If you have a contagious smile, positive attitude, and caring nature then our brides will likely love you!

  • Ability to strike up a conversation with anyone. Ideally you’re flexible and can adapt in any situation, making everyone that walks through our doors feel welcome.

  • You have a way with words. In this job you’ll regularly communicate with everyone from fellow stylists, to brides, to designers - so strong communication skills are imperative.

  • You’re detail obsessed. But in a good way, like our brides are lucky to have someone who puts as much care and perfection into each appointment.

  • Previous experience in retail? A plus. Double plus if you have experience in bridal sales or luxury sales, and you understand the dedication needed to operate successfully in an appointment-based service industry.

  • You are fashion-obsessed or have an eye for design. Because truth is, you’re part of making someones wedding day outfit truly awesome.

  • Weekend availability, especially on Saturday’s, is a must. An absolute must. Majority of our business (and your sales) happen on weekends. Someone who already suits this lifestyle would adapt to this job seamlessly. Please don't apply if you don't have weekend availability.​

A day in the life of our Oh Happy Brides stylists:

  • Engaging in one-on-one appointments with our brides, making each appointment a special and rewarding experience for the whole group & most importantly helping them find their dream dress!

  • Cultivating strong relationships with brides and their guests, so that they walk away ranting and raving about just how amazing their appointment with you was.

  • Meet your individual sales goals and track your KPI’s

  • Responsively answering phone calls, email inquiries, and providing follow-up conversations with brides from the day they say yes to the day they say I do.

  • Receiving shipments of brides’ dresses and inventory, making sure everything is in immaculate condition.

  • Showcasing your flair for styling, whether it be on brides, for Instagram or on window displays.

  • Maintaining a fresh and inviting atmosphere in the store, which contributes to the overall positive experience for our brides.
